Cooking ...in English

A project I would like to implement:Cooking in the English class.
It is going to be messy....but this is how a real primary school's class is!
The idea sprang when I was around thirteen actually..... I realised I knew many words I would not use in real life, but I did not know what to ask for if I wanted to prepare a cake or a dinner.
I tried that project in the nursery I used to work, but the interaction was in Greek.I would like to see how young learners (6-7 years old)will respond if we made an effort to bake our muffins or our koulourakia:)My aim is mainly at motivating learners by art and crafts(I think it's kind of art).It is easier for them to learn words like flour, sugar, butter, spoon etc.

Our cookbook (An idea based on Stanley, G. (2013). Language learning with technology: Ideas for integrating technology in the classroom. Cambridge University Press.)

The main goal of the activity is to collaborate together to produce a book of recipies.
